Well I guess we're doing another one of these. So let's talk some more Lovecraftian Horrors. I think we've gone over what Lovecraftian Horrors are enough, so let's just get straight to the Horrors.
Splendor Man
Splendor counts as much as Slender, because they're basically the exact same thing, one just isn't evil. Splendor birthed from a YouTube video, in which we shows up to make people happy. Though, he was originally happy and nice, with the internet, things change. Splendor Man became a part of the contemporary Slender Man Mythos.
As stated above, he isn't as happy anymore. People have adapted him into contemporary, he is often depicted as Rage Splendor Man, where he is much more evil looking and scary, with a red lined mouth and red pupils. And in his rage form, he's evil, and scary, and way, way, way cooler.
Splendor Man appears in my on-going series SlenderTruth, which you can read here!!! - [LINK]
Nyarlathotep
It just now accrued to me that we've been taking about Lovecraftian Horrors and we haven't included a monster created by Lovecraft himself. So why not include Nyarlathotep? I really like the common interpretation of Nyarlathotep, even though I tried reading the debut story, and couldn't follow it in anyway.
I do know what he is though, I just didn't read his book, this is how I am with most of Lovecraft's Horrors. I don't have a lot to say about Nyarlathotep though.
The Operator
So because I'm lazy, I'm gonna include another version of slander man... Yay! The Operator is from Marble Hornets, and in my opinion, the scariest version of Slendy to ever be.
The Operator, though, isn't really a different version of Slendy, well according to the creators of Marble Hornets that is... But he's still Slendy, tee hee.
Marble Hornets doesn't even use the Slender Mythos apparently, which also means that Masky and Hoody aren't really proxies.
Welp, that's it for now, this little series could very well last after the Halloween season. But for now, it's over... Maybe...
