Spawning from the year 1985, comes the evil Rocks and Bugs and Things! Well here's Mordle Warrior's first article, and it just happens to be about what the website is named for, so lets get started...
Rockadile
One of my favorite in the bunch, is the Rockadile.
This is the Rockadile, ready to scoop up and "devour the creep little Mordles!". The Rockadile simply looks like a rocky head, but to me looks more like wood when he's full head, would've been cool to see some wood creature in the line as well.
Shriekbeak
This is probably my favorite, the Shriekbeak a vulture the looks like a rock, what's not to love? So this little tiny vulture rock, looks nowhere near as cool as the box art, but a has cool design. How demonic is his face, how rocky is his hide, how proud is that tiny Mordle.
Gravel Guts
Probably my least favorite of the bunch, this little dinosaur demon stone has kind of a boring design in tastes, but my god is that Mordle mad. Why is he called Gravel Guts? Does he have a pit of pebbles under his head? Does he vomit out gravel from his gut? no one knows, but thing's for sure, he got one of the dopiest looks on his face I've seen.
Bloodstone
OH MY GOD! what the hell is this?! They give us all these happy little rock creatures and then give this baby hellspawn, I LOVE it! Bloodstone probably looks the most like his box art, but still doesn't look quit right. This demonic little child kinda makes me think of a movie called Basket Case, whether this was on purpose, or if this movie came after the toy line, I don't know, but i like that it reminds me of it.
I feel like the trees from Inhumanoids would feel right at home with these guys.
